Facts

The trail goes through beautiful forest landscapes and residential areas. There are several shelters along the way, and the trail passes through the nature reserves Vajsjön, Strömfors, Norravasund, and Lomselet.

Rågmjölsvägen is maintained and managed by the Norsjöbygden Cultural Trails Association.

Sometimes there are long distances between service points. If you plan to cover longer stretches as a hiker, you will need a tent or sleeping bag (there are some shelters with floors to sleep on). However, keep in mind that there can be quite a few mosquitoes in the summer. Please bring a trash bag with you as there are not waste bins along all sections of the trail. It is important to take care of nature and not litter. Feel free to read more about this in our sustainability guide, which can be found as a link at the bottom of the visitmala.se page.
